Feasibility Study

Feasibility studies (FS) are an important activity at the beginning of the project, in order to confirm if a project is profitable or not.

JVC’s feasibility studies include conducting surveys, gathering data and analysing environment related to a project according to client’s investment intention.

With experiences from the projects that we have conducted until now, and the ability to access database of JGC Corporation’s projects all over the world, we can approach the projects from different aspects and offer the most optimized products to clients, including minimizing investment costs and maximizing profit.

FEED

FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) uses the specifications and requirements indicated in the business plan in Feasibility Study, such as plant capacity, configuration of facilities, etc.

FEED ultimate purpose is to produce a full set of technical specifications and documents called FEED package, which completely reflect the requirements from clients and any unique characteristics that only apply for this particular project. Good execution of FEED is extremely essential because 60-70% of total project cost will be estimated and decided during this phase.

From our experiences in the past projects and the extensive database and know-how, JVC can produce the optimal process flow that meets client’s needs in operation, safety and environment. In addition, JVC can also propose optimization and improvement idea to clients through closely working with licensor, and utilizing our own technical expertise. Moreover, in case both FEED and EPC work are carried out by JVC, we can minimize project risks and shorten the entire schedule of the project, adding more values to the clients.

FEED package provided by JVC aims to optimize investment (CAPEX) and operation costs (OPEX), thus maximizing earnings over the life cycle of the project. JVC puts the quality of the packages as the most important factor and uses this to ensure the smooth execution of subsequent EPC work.
