JGC Vietnam has officially started the operation of representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, from 10th of April 2017. We’d like to make 2017 a year that we step into the new business area. The core business of  company still remains Oil & Gas, but through the involvement of the infrastructure business, especially, pharmaceutical factory, we hope to establish the foundation of the company’s performance under the circumstance that the Oil & Gas projects are slowdown. Development of infrastructure in Southeast Asia, especially in Vietnam, is becoming more active, to be sure. And, against this circumstance, the Company decided to set the sales basement at the economic center of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City, in order to get the pharmaceutical business on the track.

We are confident that our technical skill, knowledge, and project management capability can lead us to the success even in the new field for JGC Vietnam. 2017 will continue to be a year in which we have to produce results amidst uncertain market conditions. But we can become stronger by overcoming the difficulty. The management team will also put our best foot forward, and we have high hopes for the hard work and effort that our company will all put in.
